Product Description

K-FLEX® DP is dipropylene glycol dibenzoate used as a polar plasticizer for polymers and rubbers. The product does not crystallize and forms a glass at very low temperatures. It is used in lacquers, organosols, TPU, epoxy resins, polysulfide sealants, water-based latex adhesives, and plastisol printing applications. 


THESE SPECIAL FEATURES MAKE THIS PRODUCT SO SUCCESSFUL 

  • High solvating power for polar polymers and rubbers  
  • Does not crystallize under typical storage conditions  
  • Suitable for U.S. food packaging adhesives in accordance with applicable regulations 


THE MOST COMMON AREAS OF APPLICATION 

  • Nitrocellulose and acrylic lacquers  
  • Organosols and plastisol printing  
  • TPU (via absorption into formed pellets)  
  • Epoxy resins and polysulfide sealants  
  • Water-based latex adhesives, caulks, and sealants
