Purox® S Scopeblue® sets the industry benchmark for sodium benzoate purity, offering a minimum purity of 99.9%. This ultra-pure grade is ideal for applications demanding the highest quality, such as Personal Care, food, pharmaceutical, and feed. It complies with multiple global pharmacopeial and food standards, including USP/NF, FCC, Ph.Eur, BP, and JP, and is registered under EU Food Additives legislation as E211.

Purox® S Scopeblue® is a high-performance preservative that delivers broad-spectrum antimicrobial protection either on its own or in synergy with other preservatives and multifunctionals. Its efficacy extends up to pH 6.5, making it suitable for a wide range of personal care formulations.

What truly sets Purox® S Scopeblue® apart is its sustainability profile. Made from renewable feedstock, it is the first sodium benzoate solution on the market offering a measurably improved carbon footprint, making it the preferred choice for environmentally conscious brands.

Although not authorized as a standalone biocidal product under REGULATION (EU) No 528/2012, it can serve as a source of sodium benzoate as an active substance according to Annex I of the EU Biocidal Products Regulation (BPR).
