Product Description
Solbrol® SC Na, with the INCI name Sodium Salicylate, is a white to almost white crystalline powder or small, colorless crystals or shiny flakes. It is freely soluble in water and sparingly soluble in alcohol.
This ingredient exhibits both keratolytic and antimicrobial properties, making it an effective exfoliating agent that removes dead skin cells and improves skin texture. Additionally, Solbrol® SC Na functions as a preservative in personal care products, performing best in acidic formulations and typically used in combination with other antimicrobials or synergists.
