Product Description

Lewatit® CNP LF is a Food grade, weakly acidic, macroporous cation exchange resin based on crosslinked polyacrylate. lt is bead-shaped and has a special bead size distribution for use in the following processes:

  • cartridges for household filter systems in combination with activated carbon.

In the hydrogen form Lewatit® CNP LF is suitable for
  • decarbonisation and softening of drinking water.

Since it has a low regenerant requirement, Lewatit® CNP LF is a particulary economical product for the decarbonisation of drinking water and liquids which are either used as foodstuffs or in the production of foodstuffs.
When using Lewatit® CNP LF to treat potable water and the aqueous solutions listed above, special care should be given to the initial cycles of the new resin. Please refer to the recommended start-up conditions available on request.
