Product Description

PDBS-80 is a polymeric flame retardant especially for polyamides and thermoplastic polyesters, such as PBT and PET. PDBS-80 is a homopolymer of dibromostyrene and is in a pellet form for ease of handling and improved worker hygiene. PBDS-80 shows a higher thermal stability than Firemaster® PBS-64HW and CP-44HF.

THESE SPECIAL FEATURES MAKE THIS PRODUCT SO SUCCESSFUL  
High‑performance polymeric flame retardant based on poly(dibromostyrene).
Pellet form for ease of handling and improved worker hygiene.
Excellent thermal and color stability in demanding conditions.
Superior flow behavior, especially in glass‑filled V‑0 polyamide systems.

THE MOST COMMON AREAS OF APPLICATION 
Flame‑retardant glass‑filled polyamide components, such as PA 6, PA 6.6 and HTPA,  e.g. for electronics, automotive and white goods.
Thermoplastic polyester (PBT, PET) formulations requiring fire safety.
