Yellow metal inhibitor with EP properties based on DMTD
Additin® RC 8210 is a highly versatile lubricant additive designed to enhance the performance of various lubrication systems. In lubricating oils and greases, it functions effectively as a non-ferrous metal deactivator and an ashless extreme-pressure (EP) additive, while also serving as a sulfur scavenger. When used in polar base fluids like water or esters, a higher treat rate is required to achieve optimal yellow metal inhibition. Despite this, Additin® RC 8210 maintains excellent EP performance without negatively impacting wear properties. This makes it an ideal choice for a wide range of industrial applications, ensuring reliable and efficient operation.
