Birgit Bierther

Ms. Bierther began her training at Bayer AG in 1979 as a chemical specialist in the Pigments & Ceramics division. Subsequently she worked there in quality assurance. In 1991, she underwent internal retraining and worked as a secretary of today's Additives Business Unit until 2005. She is Member of the Works Council since 2005. 2013 she became Elected Chairwoman of the LANXESS Works Council in Cologne. Ms. Bierther is also a member of the Central Works Council, the Economic Committee and the LANXESS European Forum.
