Information on acquisition of own shares
LANXESS AG completed the acquisition of own shares for issuance of employee shares on July 20, 2012. The acquisition started on July 17, 2012. Altogether LANXESS AG acquired 167,785 own shares on the stock exchange via a bank. We disclose the following information regarding this acquisition of own shares pursuant to Sec. 14 para. 2 WpHG in connection with Art. 4 para. 4 Regulation (EG) No. 2273/2003:
