Meeting of shareholders to be held at a later date
Cologne – Due to the rapid spread of the coronavirus in Germany, specialty chemicals company LANXESS will not be able to hold its Annual Stockholders' Meeting scheduled for May 13, 2020 in the LANXESS arena in Cologne. The Board of Management of LANXESS AG decided today, Monday, March 23, 2020, to postpone the event to a later date.

The protection of the health of employees, stockholders and the service providers involved was the primary consideration in this decision. By postponing the event, LANXESS wants to help contain the spread of the virus.

Since the Annual Stockholders’ Meeting will not be held on the original date, the resolution on the appropriation of the 2019 balance sheet profit and thus the payment of the dividend will be postponed, among other things.
