LANXESS remains one of the most sustainable companies in the chemical industry. LANXESS achieved particularly strong results in the areas of climate strategy, water, human rights, and product stewardship.
“Our excellent performance in the Dow Jones Best-in-Class Index underlines that sustainability is firmly embedded in LANXESS’ corporate strategy—an area where we make no compromises, even in difficult economic times,” says Matthias Zachert, Chief Executive Officer of LANXESS AG. “Our progress in key areas such as climate protection, responsible use of resources, and good corporate governance is recognized internationally—this strengthens our credibility with customers, investors, and partners.”
Upgrade from Sustainalytics—now in Low Risk category

Furthermore, sustainability platform EcoVadis confirmed LANXESS’ Gold status. With 83 out of a possible 100 points, the Group is also among the top companies in its industry in this regard.
Consistent implementation of sustainability strategy
