LANXESS Increases Prices for Poly alpha olefin base stocks (PAO)

  • Seven percent price increase, effective immediately
  • Constrained raw material availability, higher freight and supply-chain pressures drive adjustment
Cologne

Specialty chemicals company LANXESS will increase prices for its Poly alpha olefin base stocks (PAO) by seven percent effective immediately for all incoming orders.

This increase is a response to the significant rise in the costs of energy, critical raw materials, and logistics caused by ongoing geopolitical tensions. LANXESS has worked to mitigate these impacts but the current cost environment requires this action to maintain supply continuity, consistent product quality, and reliable service.
