We at LANXESS firmly believe that our commercial success can only be guaranteed over the long term if our conduct is based on a value system accepted and practiced across the entire Group. Our core values - respect, trust, responsibility, professionalism and integrity - form the foundation of our corporate culture, which underpins and serves as the framework for responsible, lawful conduct on the part of LANXESS and its employees.
Compliance, meaning the observance of all legal provisions that are binding on the LANXESS Group, ethical principles and self-imposed regulations, is a fundamental requirement for all corporate activities.
To ensure these requirements are met appropriately and effectively across the Group, LANXESS has established a global Compliance Management System (CMS). In this context, the LANXESS Code of Conduct sets out binding guidelines and establishes principles of conduct for all employees. LANXESS requires its business partners to ensure compliance with the principles contained in our Business Partner Code of Conduct, as well as with all applicable laws and regulations throughout their supply chain, wherever they operate. All LANXESS employees and external parties have access to our “SpeakUp®” system - an anonymous, external platform for reporting violations or potential violations to our compliance organization. In this way, LANXESS promotes a culture of integrity, sustainability, and responsibility.
