EcoVadis Gold 2025
LANXESS continues to be a pioneer in sustainability: In the latest assessment by the leading international rating agency EcoVadis, the company scored 83 out of 100 points, once again securing the coveted Gold status. This puts LANXESS among the top 5 percent of all companies assessed worldwide.
The award is part of the Together for Sustainability (TfS) industry initiative, which LANXESS has been a member of since 2011. TfS promotes responsible supply chains in the chemical industry and uses EcoVadis as its standard for sustainability assessment.
What is behind the EcoVadis rating?
EcoVadis is one of the world's leading providers of sustainability assessments. The analysis is based on international standards such as the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), the UN Global Compact and the ISO 26000 standard. Companies are assessed in four key areas:
- Environment
- Labor and human rights
- Ethics
- Sustainable procurement
A total of 21 sustainability indicators are included in the assessment. The score (0–100) reflects the quality of the sustainability management system.
With 83 points, LANXESS is well above the industry average and once again confirms its leading role in the sustainable transformation of the chemical industry.
