LANXESS ends rating service by Standard & Poor’s

Cologne, December 1st 2022Specialty chemicals company LANXESS regularly reassesses its service supplier contracts and as a measure to save costs, it has now decided to discontinue the rating service of Standard & Poor’s.

The company continues to be rated by two rating agencies, which is considered to be appropriate. Moody’s has assigned a Baa2 rating while Scope Ratings recently affirmed a BBB+ rating, both with a stable outlook.
