Specialty chemicals company LANXESS is increasing prices for its Polymer Additives portfolio with immediate effect. The adjustments include price increases of up to 35 percent for flame retardants and specialty additives and up to 50 percent for plasticizers.

This decision reflects in particular the ongoing, cumulative cost increases. These include significantly higher costs for energy, critical raw materials, and logistics amid ongoing geopolitical tensions.

Despite intensive efforts to mitigate cost increases and maintain stable prices, an adjustment is necessary to ensure the long-term reliability and sustainability of supplies.

The entire polymer additives portfolio can be found here.
