As a responsible supplier, LANXESS is driving leadership in sustainability. As one of our key initiatives, we aim to be climate neutral in 2040 and to achieve a net zero value chain by 2050. LANXESS is listed in the leading sustainability indices of the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI World and Europe). Our activities were also awarded a “Gold” rating by EcoVadis in 2024.
In addition to its established portfolio, LANXESS also offers Scopeblue products, such as Purox® S Scopeblue, as particularly environmentally friendly alternatives. They are manufactured using renewable energy, renewable raw materials and the mass balance approach. The Scopeblue label identifies LANXESS products with a CO2 footprint at least 50% lower than that of conventional products or consisting of at least 50% sustainable raw materials. Detailed and accurate emissions data help customers achieve their sustainability goals.
