Safety is Saltigo’s top priority — especially when handling highly reactive substances like phosgene. This is ensured through a comprehensive safety approach, including:
- Purpose-built facilities with physically separated areas for phosgene chemistry (e.g. outdoor process units)
- Redundant process instrumentation to detect and control deviations reliably
- Use of inert heating and cooling media
- Separate exhaust treatment systems for phosgene-containing off-gases
- Multi-level phosgene monitoring, including area sensors on production platforms
