Biosecurity is one of the only ways to help prevent the spread of the current outbreaks of the African Swine Fever (ASF) virus and Highly Pathogenic strains of Avian Influenza (HPAI).

The transmission of both ASF and HPAI has been strongly linked to the transportation of goods and infected livestock and poultry.
