PUROX® S grains pure grade Sodium Benzoate
Product Description
Purox® S grains is a white, dust-free, slightly hygroscopic form of sodium benzoate with a minimum purity of 99.9%, making it the highest-purity sodium benzoate commercially available. It meets stringent regulatory and pharmacopoeial requirements including USP/NF, FCC, Ph.Eur., BP, JP, and complies with EU food additive legislation (E211).
While not authorized as a biocidal product under REGULATION (EU) No 528/2012, it can serve as a source of sodium benzoate as an active substance listed in Annex I of the EU Biocidal Products Regulation (BPR).
Manufactured under FSSC 22000 and FAMI-QS certified systems, and certified Kosher (including Passover) and Halal, Purox® S is ideal for applications requiring clean-label preservatives in food, animal feed, and personal care products.
Purox® S provides broad-spectrum antimicrobial protection, especially in formulations up to pH 6.5, and is highly compatible with multifunctional ingredients and preservative boosters.
