As green as a dollar banknote - the sustainable future of finance

At the Virtual Days 2023, Frank Klein (Senior Coverage Specialist Institutional and ESG specialist at DWS) and Michael Pontzen (CFO of LANXESS) highlighted current trends and future perspectives of sustainable finance, both from a corporate and capital market perspective.

In corporate finance, sustainability is taking on an increasingly important role, as investors and lenders are increasingly incorporating sustainability criteria into their decisions. Sustainable financial instruments such as green bonds, social bonds or sustainability-linked loans can be used. But as a private individual, there are also opportunities to invest sustainably, for example in sustainable funds or ETFs that support companies that make a sustainable contribution.
