Products from the LANXESS biocide range offer reliable protection against all relevant kinds of moulds. Mould in gypsum products can occur during storage or transport as well as after application.

Material consistency when working with ready-mix plasters, such as tape joint compounds (TJC) is critical. These compounds help connect the joints between the drywall sheets and their application needs to result in a smooth surface. The consistency or viscosity of the compound can be affected by the way it is prepared for application and by the raw materials used in the compound, including the preservatives used to protect it from microbial contamination.
