LANXESS active substance-based disinfectants are highly effective against several disease-causing viruses, such as African Swine Fever virus and Avian Influenza virus. STRONG PERFORMANCE IN PRESENCE OF ORGANIC MATTER
Besides their broad efficacy spectrum, LANXESS active substances also perform well under challenging conditions. Phenolic active substances like Preventol® CMK, Preventol® O extra, and Preventol® BP show strong performance even in the presence of organic matter, such as dirt, faeces, and blood.
SUCCESSFUL IN COMBATING ENDOPARASITES
Endoparasites, like roundworms (Ascaris suum, Heterakis) and coccidia (Isospora suis, Eimeria tenella, Cryptosporidium parvum) infect the internal organs of livestock and poultry, having a detrimental effect on health and production performance. These effects include: longer breeding cycles, reduced feed to weight gain performance, increased feed per production cycle, higher use of antibiotics to fight disease causing organisms and, inevitably, increased mortality rates. Preventol® CMK is the active of choice for disinfectants targeting to penetrate and destroy coccidia oocysts. Thus enabling livestock and poultry producers to break the chain of infection from one production cycle to the next.
HIGH EFFICIENCY AT LOW TEMPERATURES
The actives are highly effective at low temperatures often found in animal farming, as demonstrated by the European veterinary test standards performed at 10°C and the DEFRA approval test performed at 4°C. This makes them suitable active ingredients for surface disinfectants especially on farms, including for boot and wheeldip applications. Preventol® active substances can be applied by spraying, fogging or smoke fumigation.
QUICK AND EFFECTIVE AT MINIMAL DOSIS
Klarix™ and Ucarcide™ (glutaraldehyde) is internationally recognized as an effective disinfectant ingredient, particularly well-suited for animal biosecurity, owing to its rapid action and efficacy at low dosages. Furthermore, farm equipment integrity is preserved, as glutaraldehyde is non-oxidizing and non-corrosive to metals at recommended use levels. LANXESS glutaraldehyde is non-foaming and suitable for different application methods including fumigation and fogging in animal facilities.
