At LANXESS, Occupational Health and Safety is a top priority to create a safe and healthy working environment for all employees. Our Occupational Health Management (OHM) includes tailored initiatives such as company integration management (CIM) for long-term illnesses, mental health programs such as mindfulness-based stress reduction, and health promotion for all employees. Through the Xact Safety Initiative, we aim to reduce the Lost Time Injury Frequency Rate (LTIFR) by more than half by 2025. Key components of the program include:

A centralised CRM system and unified complaint management platform ensure efficient processes and continuous improvement, supported by regular customer satisfaction surveys.
At the same time, LANXESS is driving product innovation, particularly in sustainable solutions such as the Scopeblue" range. Examples include Bayferrox 303 T for improved plastics sorting and environmentally friendly flame retardants. With the new APAC Application Development Centre in Shanghai, the company is strengthening its R&D efforts and has been awarded the "Innovativ durch Forschung" ("Innovative through Research") seal.

Advocating for Human Rights: Our Ethical Responsibility
LANXESS is committed to respecting human rights throughout our operations and supply chains, guided by our Code of Conduct and our Business Partner Code of Conduct. We ensure compliance through annual risk assessments and promote sustainability through initiatives such as Together for Sustainability (TfS).
We provide accessible reporting channels for suspected violations, including an anonymous whistleblower platform. Our efforts are continuously evaluated and reported in our Annual Report and Corporate Sustainability Report.
