At LANXESS, we are committed to respecting human rights throughout our operations and supply chain. Our compliance organisation, supported by the Group Compliance Officer and regional compliance officers, ensures adherence to ethical principles and legal standards. We have a zero-tolerance approach to corruption, as outlined in our Code of Conduct, and provide training to prevent misconduct. Employees and third parties can report concerns confidentially through our SpeakUp® system.

We actively conduct risk assessments to ensure compliance with human rights standards, in particular under the German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (LkSG). Our Business Partner Code of Conduct sets out our expectations of suppliers, emphasising fair labour practices and environmental protection. We promote responsible supply chains through initiatives such as Together for Sustainability.

Human rights and ethical behaviour are central to our business and we report on our commitments in our Annual Report and Sustainability Report. Concerns can be reported via email or the SpeakUp® platform, ensuring transparency and accountability.

At LANXESS, employee health and safety are our top priorities. Our Health Management and the Xact Safety Program focus on prevention, training, and creating a robust safety culture. Our goal is to significantly reduce accident rates globally, and we not only focus on physical safety but also promote mental health through mindfulness and stress reduction programs.

Additionally, LANXESS offers flexible working conditions through initiatives like Xwork, which gives employees more freedom regarding their work hours and location. We also support employees with family and caregiving responsibilities by providing extended parental leave and caregiver leave programs.
