The Additin^® Specialties line offers three groups of specialty additives for particular requirements. 1) Synthetic ester and polymer additives to optimize affinity to different metal surfaces. 2) Non-ferrous metal deactivators with EP properties, designed to reduce corrosion and aging. 3) Water-solulable additives to enhace lubricity, EP performance and provide protection against corrosion. 

Our complete line of Calcinate^TM overbased calcium sulfonates are used for both corrosion inhibition on ferrous metals and EP performance in industrial and metalworking lubricant applications. 

Reolube^® HYD are colorless, odorless fire-resistant hydraulic fluids suitable for use in hydraulic equipment exposed to high temperature.  They can self-extinguish if sprayed onto hot surfaces or flames and their high thermal stability makes them suitable for high fire hazard environments such as those found in primary metals processing or mining operations.

Reolube^® Turbofluids are high performance phosphate ester self extinguishing fire resistant fluids intended for use in applications where fire safety is critical. Originally developed for use in electrohydraulic control (EHC) systems of steam turbines, Reolube^® Turbofluids also have application in gas turbines, turbo-compressors, reactor coolant pumps and generators as well as conventional applications. 

Although our Royco^® brand is primarily known for its use in aerospace and defense, some of the turbo fluids are also very suitable for gas- and high pressure turbine engines. 

Fire-side corrosion inhibitors are additives that are designed to prevent corrosion from combustion products resulting from the burning of fuels containing sulfur, vandium and other heavy metals. These products are primarily used in heavy fuel-fired turbines for electrical power generation.

Hatcol^® synthetic ester base stocks  can be used as a base stock alone for maximum high temperature performance, or in combination with PAO and Group III oils to improve additive solubility, stability, elastomer compatibility and cleanliness.
